A forty year tradition

Soar to new heights at Wadsworth's spectacular Balloons Over Wadsworth event on Saturday, August 10th at the Wadsworth Municipal Airport! This year's event promises to be the most exciting yet, with an amazing lineup of activities and entertainment for the whole family. The 2024 presenting organization is Inspire Aviation. Inspire Aviation is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Wadsworth, Ohio. Their purpose is to provide educational opportunities for youth and adults in the general public in the areas of aviation and STEM. They provide the community an opportunity to learn about Aviation as a career or hobby through community events.

Yoga with the Balloons!
Kick-off Balloons Over Wadsworth with an all-levels class from Roots Yoga! Class will begin at 8:00 A.M. and balloons should return from flight around 8:30 A.M. Please bring a yoga mat or towel, water, and anything else you want to be comfortable! Register here!

Balloon Show
Watch in awe as 25 colorful hot air balloons inflate and launch into the sky around 6:00 P.M. (weather permitting).

Flights with Pilots
Take to the skies with our exhilarating Helicopter Rides and get a bird's eye view of the beautiful surrounding scenery. (Additional fee applies, contact the Airport for more details.)

Night Glow
As the sun sets, get ready for an unforgettable experience as the balloons return for a mesmerizing "Night Glow" around 9 P.M. (weather permitting).

Enjoy Live Music
Enjoy live music on our Summa Health main stage from 3 - 9 P.M., while indulging in a wide variety of mouth-watering treats from our 25 delicious food vendors.

Bring the Family
Get your tickets here for just $15 per car. Bring your own seating and blankets to fully enjoy this family-friendly event.

Kids Zone
Let the kids have a blast in our fun-filled inflatable Kids Zone with other activities.

Balloons Over Wadsworth is a weather-dependent event and tickets are nonrefundable.
