On mobile, scroll down to sign up to volunteer. We invite you to Wadsworth, Ohio, on August 9-10, 2024, for the 2024 Balloons over Wadsworth Fun Rally. You will be warmly welcomed by enthusiastic sponsors and spectators. In 2023, we counted nearly 2,500 cars entering the airport grounds (about 8,000-9,000 spectators), and we anticipate a larger crowd this year. Yes, we need all the volunteers we can get, so please consider joining us.

Inspire Aviation, Flight Services of Wadsworth, LLC, The City of Wadsworth, and its volunteer Events Committee are planning the 2024 Balloons over Wadsworth Fun Rally. Inspire Aviation is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Wadsworth, Ohio. We aim to provide educational opportunities for youth and adults in the general public in aviation and STEM. We allow the community to learn about Aviation as a career or hobby through community events.

Set-up: August 8 & 9, Times TBD Event Opens: Friday, 8/9 at 4 pm and Saturday, 8/10 at 2:00 pm Event Ends: Saturday, 8/10 at 10 pm Location: Wadsworth Municipal Airport I'll make sure to give you more details as soon as possible.

About the Balloons over Wadsworth Fun Rally

The committee is hard at work putting the final touches on what should be a great community event for the citizens of Wadsworth and Medina, Cuyahoga, Lorain, Ashland, Summit, and Wayne Counties. We hope you’ll consider being part of our event. The event will feature the main event…” Balloons!" In addition, we will be featuring helicopter & plane rides, vintage aircraft, 30 food trucks, and plenty of activities for kids.
